Pain in heart

With pain in my heart I said goodbye to my boss this afternoon. Even the free drinks and snacks couldn't save my heartache. One small comfort is that he liked my goodbye present. And he asked for my MSN adress. Guess he couldn't leave the 'girl who likes Japanese animation and stuff' after all :D. And he promised to go to Howl's Moving Castle with me, which will be released in August here. A small, but good comfort.

I think our friendship was kinda special for me. He would always look at me first with this curious look, even though I'm with a bunch of other colleagues together. And I would always understand what he means with one look in his eyes. It's close to being in love with him, but somehow I never really felt attracted to him. Maybe it's the age difference. He could have been my uncle (he's 36). His spirit is much younger though.

Anyhow, gotta move on. By the way I need to write some application letters. Have to find a new internship in September for school. I'm going for a magazine publishing house this time, instead of a book publishing house.
